Zip Zone Express Tip-Off Classic slated for Nov. 26

INEZ — The Zip Zone Express Tip-Off Classic is set to be held at Martin County High School on Saturday, Nov. 26.

Area boys’ high school basketball teams scheduled to participate in the Zip Zone Express Tip-Off Classic include host Martin County, Lawrence County and Johnson Central.

Returning to the court, high school basketball teams opened preseason practice in mid-October.

In addition to boys’ high school basketball games, the Zip Zone Express Tip-Off Classic will include a girls’ hoops matchup and a boys’ middle school game.

9:20 a.m. - Martin County vs. Dorton (Boys’ Middle School Basketball)

10:40 a.m. - Johnson Central vs. Rowan County (Boys’ High School Basketball)

Noon - Shelby Valley vs. Hopkins County Central (Boys’ High School Basketball)

1:20 p.m. - Breathitt County vs. Lexington Catholic (Boys’ High School Basketball)

2:40 p.m. - Pikeville vs. Chapmanville (W.Va.) (Boys’ High School Basketball)

4 p.m. - Trinity vs. Lyon County (Boys’ High School Basketball)

5:20 p.m. - Martin County vs. Chapmanville (W.Va.) (Girls’ High School Basketball)

6:40 p.m. - Martin County vs. Logan (W.Va.) (Boys’ High School Basketball)

8 p.m. - Tug Valley (W.Va.) vs. Lawrence County (Boys’ High School Basketball)
