Zip Zone Express Tip Off Classic set for Nov. 25

INEZ — The Zip Zone Express Tip Off Classic is set to be held at Martin County High School on Saturday, Nov. 25.

The top event of its kind in the state, the Zip Zone Express Tip Off Classic is celebrating 35 years.

The games scheduled for the Zip Zone Express Tip Off Classic are Prestonsburg vs. Magoffin County (Boys), Pike County Central vs. Ashland (Boys), Lawrence County vs. Butler County (Boys), Evangel Christian vs. Boyd County (Boys), Lyon County vs. Great Crossing (Boys), Martin County vs. Tug Valley (Girls), Floyd Central vs. Tug Valley (Boys) and Martin County vs. Chapmanville (Boys).

Boys’ and girls’ high school basketball teams opened preseason practices in mid-October. Prep hoops teams will take the court for season openers either later in the month or in early-December.
