Tigers shut out Eminence

PAINTSVILLE — Paintsville shut out Eminence 14-0 at Memorial Field on Friday, Sept. 5.
The game was shortened due to the weather.
Paintsville moved to 3-0 after posting the win.
Paintsville has outscored its first three opponents in the 2025 high school football season 105-20.
Quarterback Parker Helton paced Paintsville through the air, completing three passes for 71 yards and one touchdown. Anderson Lauffer led the Tigers in receiving, finishing with two receptions for 40 yards and one touchdown.
Paintsville rushed nine times for 39 yards and one touchdown. Anderson Lauffer took two carries for 29 yards. Finding the endzone via the ground, Brody Howell supplied one rushing touchdown or the Tigers.
Howell paced Paintsville defensively, recording four tackles. Following Howell, Colton Short and Ralph Serls recorded two tackles apiece for the Tigers.
Paintsville is scheduled to visit Russell for its next game on Friday, Sept. 12.
