Three Lawrence County teams win semi-final games to advance to Turf Bowl on Nov. 4

The Lawrence County Youth Football A-team, B-team and C-team won their semi-final games on Saturday, Oct. 28, to advance to the Turf Bowl which will be held on Sunday, Nov. 4, at Joan C. Edwards Stadium, 2001 3rd Ave., Huntington, WV.

The C-team played Barboursville and defeated them 12-0. They will play the Buffalo Bisons at 11 a.m.

The B-team played Barboursville, winning 8-6. They will play Douglas Commack (DC Express) at noon.

The A-team defeated Wayne by a score of 26-12. They will play at 1 p.m., against the Buffalo Bisons.

Lawrence County D-team played against Ona-Milton and were defeated 42-6, ending their chance at the playoffs.

The league is asking everyone come out and support the boys, by flooding the stands by wearing your “RED” Lawrence County gear.
