The Cove beach area is located near the Yatesville Lake State Park Marina, Yatesville Dam Road, Louisa. Applications for summer Lifeguards are now being accepted at the Lawrence County Judge’s office, in the downtown Louisa courthouse. For more information, call Suzie at 606-371-2091.

The 2023 Golf Outings at the Yatesville Lake Golf Course has been updated: April 15: LCHS Golf Team; May 6, LCHS Senior Class; May 13: Karla Huff Memorial; and May 27: Big Hurricane Church Golf Tournament; June 3: Harpers Hope; June 10: LCHS Cheer Team, June 24: Mountain Heritage Day; Sept. 1: Joe Damron Memorial.

Greens Aerification schedule: March 29, 30 and 31, weather permitting.

Hours of play: Monday-Tuesday, front nine open – holes 1-6, 16, 17, 18; back nine closed – holes 7 thru 15.

Wednesday-Thursday and Friday, back nine open – holes 7 thru 15; front nine closed – holes 1-6, 16, 17 and 18.
