Runyon named Second Team All-Region 12

LOUISA — Lawrence County girls’ golfer Abby Runyon has been named Second Team All-Region 12.

The Kentucky Golf Coaches Association honored Runyon and other girls’ golfers from across Region 12, which is comprised of Lawrence County, Ashland Blazer, Bath County, Boyd County, East Carter, Elliott County, Fairview, Fleming County, Greenup County, Lewis County, Mason County, Montgomery County, Morgan County, Raceland, Rose Hill Christian, Rowan County Senior High School, Russell, St. Patrick and West Carter.

Runyon led Lawrence County throughout the 2025 girls’ high school golf season.

The Region 12 honorees for the 2025 girls’ high school golf season follow.

Region 12 Girls’ Golf Player of the Year: Athena Singh (Rowan County).

First Team All-Region 12 Girls’ Golf: Athena Singh (Rowan County), Madison Easterling (Montgomery County), Emily Ledford (East Carter), Peyton Patrick (Montgomery County), Josie McGuire (Russell).  

Second Team All-Region 12 Girls’ Golf: Sydney Ullery (Mason County), Hannah Lykins (Montgomery County), Callie Baber (Rowan County), Abby Runyon (Lawrence County), Addison Terry (Montgomery County).
