Run from the Rona slated Sept. 1-5

LOUISA – Rise Above in Louisa will host Run from the Rona, a virtual 5K, from Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 8 a.m. to Saturday, Sept. 5 at 11 p.m. Participants can run/walk along or join a group of friends. “It is your race, on your terms, wherever you are at,” an announcement for the event says. A portion of the proceeds will go towards Bibles and recovery materials for those fighting addiction. The registration fee is $35, which includes a T-shirt, racing bid and a medal.
