PAINTSVILLE — Paintsville remains ranked first in the Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association Region 15 Top 5 Poll.

The KVCA released its third Top 5 polls in the 2022 high school volleyball season for each of the state’s 16 regions on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Reigning champion Floyd Central (2), Johnson Central (3), Betsy Layne (4) and Shelby Valley (5) are ranked behind Paintsville in the KVCA Region 15 Top 5 Poll.

Paintsville entered the week 30-2. In September, Paintsville, under the direction of Coach Dawn Kinner, won the All “A” Classic statewide championship.
