Rebels knock off East Fairmont 22-14
STAFF REPORT BSN FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Quarterback Jesse Muncy completed two touchdown passes to Zack Ball as visiting Tolsia knocked off East Fairmont 22-14 in a high school football game on Friday, Oct. 23. Tolsia improved to 3-2 after claiming the win. Continuing to be limited, East Fairmont dropped to 1-6 following the loss. Muncy completed six of 12 passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns. Chipping in on defense, Muncy recorded one interception. Ball paced Tolsia in receiving, hauling in five receptions for 128 yards and two touchdowns. John Wilson led Tolsia on the ground, rushing 19 times for 76 yards. Gavin Meadows helped to lift Tolsia defensively, returning an interception 50 yards for a touchdown as part of the Rebels' victory. Offensively for East Fairmont, Ian Crookshanks, a freshman, completed 10 of 18 passes for 81 yards and one touchdown. However, Crookshanks threw two interceptions. Leading East Fairmont through the air and on the ground, Crookshanks rushed 10 times for 35 yards. Tolsia is scheduled to visit Mount View on Friday, Oct. 30.
