Panthers upend Symmes Valley (Ohio) 27-6

WILLOW WOOD, Ohio — Visiting Tug Valley upended Symmes Valley (Ohio) 27-6 in a high school football game on Friday, Sept. 9.
Following the win, Tug Valley improved to 3-0 for only the seventh time in its history.
The loss forced Symmes Valley to drop to 1-3.
Sophomore quarterback Elijah Fluty led Tug Valley to the win, passing for 172 yards and two touchdowns. Delivering through the air and on the ground, Fluty added 52 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown.
Buddy Marcum and Riley Damron each hauled in a scoring pass from Fluty.
Contributing on the ground for the Panthers, Adam Slone added a rushing touchdown.
The Panthers scored first and never trailed. Tug Valley produced a touchdown in each of the first two quarters to lead 12-0 at halftime.
The Panthers remained in control throughout the high school football game. Tug Valley led 27-0 before Symmes Valley reached the endzone in the fourth quarter.
Tug Valley is scheduled to host East Ridge on Friday, Sept. 16.
