PAINTSVILLE — Paintsville swept crosstown rival Johnson Central in a 57th District baseball regular season series played over a three-day period Tuesday, April, 13-Thursday, April 15, winning 10-0 and 13-11.

Paintsville pulled await to defeat visiting Johnson Central 10-0 in six innings in a 57th District baseball game at Charlie Adkins Field on Tuesday, April 13.

Zach Cline was the winning pitcher for the Tigers.

Johnson Central pitcher Hunter Blevins suffered the loss on the mound.

Paintsville plated 10 runs on seven hits. Leading Paintsville at the plate, Ashton Miller and Cory Jefferson provided two hits apiece.

Jefferson and Baron Ratliff recorded three RBIs each for the Tigers.

Providing a lift at the plate for Paintsville, Grayson Peters homered.

Keygan Pelfrey doubled for Johnson Central, which was limited offensively throughout the district matchup.

Contributing at the plate for the Golden Eagles, Conner Lemaster singled.

Paintsville outlasted homestanding Johnson Central 13-11 in a 57th District baseball game on Thursday, April 15.

Jonah Porter picked up the win on the mound for the Tigers.

Golden Eagle pitcher Cameron Kelsey suffered the loss.

Paintsville scored 13 runs on nine hits. Harris Phelps led Paintsville at the plate, finishing 3-for-5 with a triple.

Following Phelps, Ashton Miller was 2-for-4 at the plate for the Tigers.

AJ James and Ashton Adams drove in two runs apiece for Paintsville.

James and Gunner Collins both doubled in the Tigers' win.

Conner Lemaster paced Johnson Central with a home run, double and three RBIs.

In another leading effort, Brock Butcher added two hits and four RBIs for the Golden Eagles.

Another productive Johnson Central batter, Matt Crum contributed two hits, one of which was a double.
