‘Meet the Dawgs’ set for Thursday

LOUISA — “Meet the Dawgs” is set for Thursday, Aug. 5, at the Lawrence County High School Football Field.

High school, middle school and youth football teams as well as cheerleading squads will be featured during “Meet the Dawgs.”

Lawrence County, a member of Class 3A, District 8, compiled a 4-2 record during the 2020 high school football season.

The Bulldogs opened preseason practice in July, shortly after the conclusion of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association Dead Period.

Lawrence County's 2021 regular season schedule includes games versus Harrison County, Greenup County, Russell, Magoffin County, East Carter, Boyd County, Pike County Central, Belfry, Floyd Central and Raceland.

The start time for “Meet the Dawgs” is 6 p.m.
