Maynard named First Team All-State

LOUISA — Lawrence County senior Blake Maynard has been named First Team All-State by

the Kentucky High School Boys’ Soccer Coaches Association (KHSBSCA).

A longtime leader for Lawrence County, Maynard led the Bulldogs throughout the 2022 boys’ high school soccer season. Maynard scored 54 goals and recorded seven assists for the Bulldogs during his junior campaign. Lawrence County’s leading scorer, Maynard averaged three goals per game in the 2022 boys’ high school soccer season.

Maynard will be among the state’s top boys’ high school soccer players as a senior in 2023.
