Louisa Bass Club holds it’s annual Septemberfest fishing tournament

The Louisa Bass Club has held a Septemberfest Fishing Tournament every year since 1990, on the Sunday after the festival in Louisa, this year it was on Sept. 10, at the Yatesville Lake in Lawrence County.

The top ten winners of the tournament are: first place, Kevin Dials and Cameron Dials with 14.76 lbs, winning $5,000; second place, Kerry Baisden and Mike Parley with 13.95 lbs., winning $1,500; third place, Jerry Kehler and Kyle Calhoun with 13.79 lbs., winning $1,000; fourth place, Mike Adams and Bruce McDonald with 13.24 lbs., winning $600; fifth place, Hunter Massie and Ben Brewer with 12.67 lbs., winning $400; sixth place, Danny Raines and Shane Bronson with 12.04 lbs., winning $300; seventh place, John Elkins and Chris Shull with 11.72 lbs., winning $200; eighth place, Larry Crum and Darrick Preston with 11.66 lbs., winning $100; ninth place, Timmy Morgan and Jack Collins, 11.44 lbs., winning $100; and rounding out tenth place, Doug Stamper and Dave Ferguson with 11.17 lbs., winning $100.

Bruce Stamper and Andrew Scott had the “BIG FISH” weighing in at 5.25 lbs., and received $1,000 for their effort.
