Lawrence County turns back West Carter

LOUISA — Lawrence County pushed past West Carter 3-2 in a late-season girls’ volleyball match on Tuesday, Oct. 14.

The win allowed Lawrence County to improve to 9-14.

Lawrence County returned to the win column following three straight losses.

Kailyn Stacy (3 kills, 2 blocks, 12 assists, 8 digs, 7 service aces), Chloe Jude (3 kills, 1 assist, 7 digs, 2 service aces), Aryn Huffman (4 kills, 13 assists, 5 digs, 2 service aces), Annabelle Hayes (7 kills, 3 blocks, 1 assist, 2 digs, 4 service aces), Shelby Compton (2 kills, 9 digs, 2 service aces), Gabrielle Stinnett (3 kills, 1 block, 1 assist, 1 dig) and Ally Hunt (6 kills, 1 block, 1 assist, 3 digs) each excelled in Lawrence County’s win.

Lawrence County defeated West Carter after dropping a match to the Lady Comets earlier in the 2025 girls’ high school volleyball season.
