BUCKLEYS CREEK — Lawrence County rolled past Pike County Central 8-0 in a 57th District girls’ soccer match on Thursday, Sept. 5.
Katie Compton scored three goals and distributed one assist to lead Lawrence County to the win.
Following Compton in Lawrence County’s scoring column, Dakota Thornsbury and Molly McClanahan netted two goals apiece.
Rounding out Lawrence County’s scoring, Abby Maynard added one goal.
Chipping in offensively for Lawrence County, Reagan Webb dished out two assists while Summer King contributed one assist.
Goalkeeper Abby Maynard paced Lawrence County defensively, recording a shutout. Maynard delivered one save in the girls’ high school soccer match.
Lawrence County 2, Greenup County 0: Lawrence County shut out Greenup County 2-0 in a non-district girls’ soccer match on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Offensively for Lawrence County, Dakota Thornsbury scored two goals off a pair of assists from Reagan Webb.
Goalkeeper Abby Maynard recorded a shutout for Lawrence County in the non-district match. Maynard posted nine saves.
Defensively for Greenup County, goalkeeper Kamryn Pollock delivered 20 saves while allowing two goals.
