PRESTONSBURG — Lawrence County captured its sixth straight Cal Ripken Baseball District 3 8U Championship at StoneCrest on Saturday, June 14.

Excelling offensively and defensively during the district tournament, Lawrence County compiled a 4-0 record.

Lawrence County outscored its opponents 44-16 during the district tournament. Finishing strong, Lawrence County defeated Pikeville 11-3 in the district tournament title game.

Lawrence County’s roster is comprised of the following players: Sawyer Laney, Case Fitzpatrick, Gentry Bowen, Cory Keeton, Noah Young, Oakley Pack, Marcus Bowen, Grayson Jude, Blake Lemaster, Jace Newsome, Jase Rollins, Dossen Sturgell.

The coaches for Lawrence County are Shane Pack, Brad Laney, Casey Fitzpatrick, Jason Rollins, Marcus Bowen and Bobby Keeton.
