Jones named to Class 2A All-State First Team

LEXINGTON — Lawrence County senior shortstop/center fielder Bree Jones has been named to the Class 2A All-State First Team.

Jones earned the honor from the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association.

Among the top student-athletes in the state, Jones helped to lead Lawrence County throughout the 2025 high school softball season.

Earlier in the month, Jones was named to the East Senior All-Stars.

In addition to Jones, Johnson Central senior Mayson Delong was a Class 2A All-State First Team selection.

The Class 2A honorees for the 2025 high school softball season follow.
