LOUISA — Lawrence County blanked Prestonsburg 3-0 in a 58th District volleyball match on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

With the win, Lawrence County improved to 9-7 overall and 1-2 in the 58th District.

Lawrence County won 25-19, 25-23, 25-21.

Brylee Stafford (9 kills, 5 digs), Grace Blevins (20 assists, 5 digs, 1 service ace), Sara Shannon (6 kills, 4 blocks, 1 dig), Lainey Blevins (4 digs, 1 service ace), Kenzley Brooks (2 digs, 1 service ace), Sophie Adkins (16 kills, 3 blocks, 9 digs), Aryn Huffman (2 blocks, 13 assists, 6 digs, 2 service aces) and Emma Collins (11 kills, 13 digs, 1 service ace) each excelled for Lawrence County in its district win.

Lawrence County 3, Rose Hill Christian 0: Lawrence County shut out Rose Hill Christian 3-0 in a non-district volleyball match on Monday, Sept. 16.

The Lady Bulldogs won 25-18, 25-9, 25-7.

Grace Blevins (1 kill, 20 assists, 3 digs, 1 service ace), Sara Shannon (14 kills), Emma Collins (12 kills, 5 digs), Lainey Blevins (1 dig), Sophie Adkins (10 kills, 4 digs, 4 service aces), Aryn Huffman (1 kill, 14 assists, 1 dig, 2 service aces), Kenzley Brooks (4 kills, 3 digs, 2 service aces), Brylee Stafford (1 kill, 3 digs) and Aubrey Endicott each aided Lawrence County in its non-district win.
