LOUISA — Behind a perfect game from pitcher Taylor Blevins, Lawrence County blanked visiting Prestonsburg 15-0 in three innings in a 58th District softball matchup on Monday, March 27.

Notching the win in the circle, Blevins recorded seven strikeouts while delivering only 32 pitches.

Prestonsburg pitcher Elana Goble suffered the loss.

Lawrence County excelled at the plate, scoring 15 runs on 16 hits. Bree Jones (three hits, one RBI), Abby Nelson (two hits, two RBIs), Dani Cum (two hits, one RBI), Shelby Blevins (two hits, one RBI), Allie Triplett (two hits, one RBI), Gracie Preece (one hit, three RBIs), Taylor Blevins (one hit, two RBIs) and Kensley Feltner (one hit, one RBI) each contributed offensively for Lawrence County in the district game.

Held hitless at the plate, Prestonsburg batters were behind on pitch counts throughout the district matchup.
