ASHLAND — Lawrence County defeated Pulaski County 11-3 in the Tri-State Showcase at Boyd County High School on Saturday, April 15.

Taylor Blevins claimed the win in the circle for the Lady Bulldogs. Blevins pitched a complete game, allowing three earned runs on 10 hits over seven innings.

Blevins (two hits, one RBI), Allie Triplett (three hits, two RBIs), Bree Jones (two hits, one RBI), Gracie Preece (one hit, two RBIs), Kensley Feltner (one hit), Abby Nelson (one hit) and Abby Maynard (one hit) each thrived at the plate for Lawrence County in the matchup. Jones delivered a double and a tripe for the Lady Bulldogs.

Lawrence County was limited offensively as Bath County pulled away to win 14-2 in six innings in the Tri-State Showcase at Boyd County High School on Saturday, April 15.

Taylor Blevins started in the circle for Lawrence County and suffered the loss.

Aiding Lawrence County defensively, Allie Triplett pitched in relief.

Triplett (two hits), Gracie Preece (one hit), Dani Crum (one hit) and Bree Jones (one hit) managed to connect at the plate for the Lady Bulldogs.
