Lady Bulldogs win two of first three matches

LOUISA — Lawrence County won two of its first three matches in the 2025 high school volleyball season.

During the first week of the 2025 high school volleyball season, Lawrence County met a pair of 16th Region teams and a rival from nearby West Virginia.

Teams from across both Kentucky and West Virginia are competing in the 2025 high school volleyball season.

The Lady Bulldogs shut out visiting Rose Hill Christian 3-0 in a season opener on Monday, Aug. 18.

However, Greenup County dealt host Lawrence County a loss, shutting out the Lady Bulldogs 3-0 on Tuesday, Aug. 19.

But Lawrence County managed to return to the win column on the road two days later. The Lady Bulldogs blanked Tolsia (W.Va.) 3-0 on Thursday, Aug. 21.

Lawrence County competes in the 58th District and 15th Region. Head coach Autumn Blevins guides the Lady Bulldogs.
