KVCA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll released

LEXINGTON — The Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association (KVCA) released its preseason coaches’ poll on Tuesday, Aug. 8.

The preseason high school volleyball poll doesn’t feature any teams from the 15th Region.

Perennial title contender Assumption entered the 2023 high school volleyball season ranked number one.

Rounding out the top five in the preseason coaches’ poll are Sacred Heart, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Notre Dame and Mercy.

Nine of the state’s 16 regions are represented on the KVCA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll.

The 2023 high school volleyball season opened on Monday, Aug. 14.

The 2023 high school volleyball season will conclude with the KHSAA State Championship at George Rogers Clark High School in early-November.
