Johnson County Hosts Special Olympics

Areas 3 and 9 of Special Olympics held their track and field competitions Saturday at Johnson Central High School, with 130 athletes participating. Johnson County Special Olympics Eagles athlete Hunter Reynolds and Kentucky State Police trooper Forest Newsome were the torch runners for the event. Special Olympics thanked the Paintsville Rotary and Kiwanis clubs, the Cryptic Knights of the Widows, the Calvary Church of God, Kentucky State Police, and the JCHS boys’ and girls’ soccer teams for helping with the event.
