Johnson Central, Estill County battle to 2-2 tie

IRVINE — Johnson Central battled host Estill County to a 2-2 tie in a girls’ high school soccer match on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Following the tie, Johnson Central moved to 12-1-3.

Braylee Murphy and Emma Ferguson scored one goal apiece for the Lady Eagles.

Muphy and Lauren Arrowood each recorded for one assist for Johnson Central during the match.

Goalkeeper Abigail Ramey paced Johnson Central defensively, delivering seven saves while limiting Estill County to two goals.

Johnson Central (57th District/15th Region) and Estill County (54th District/14th Region) met for the first time in the 2024 girls’ high school soccer season.
