Johnson Central claims back-to-back wins in Florida

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Reigning 15th Region champion Johnson Central notched back-to-back wins over Ohio opponents in the Softball Beach Bash on Wednesday, March 20.

Johnson Central doubled up Southview (Ohio) 8-4 in the Softball Beach Bash on Wednesday, March 30.

Clara Blair claimed the win in the circle for the Lady Eagles.

Randi Delong led Johnson Central at the plate, delivering two hits and two RBIs in the Lady Eagles’ win.

Driving in one run, Keylee Blair contributed an RBI single for the Lady Eagles.

Contributing at the plate for Johnson Central, Addison Burchett added two singles.

Olentangy (Ohio) 4 (6 innings)

Johnson Central pulled away to defeat Olentangy (Ohio) 14-4 in the Softball Beach Bash on Wednesday, March 30.

Johnson Central scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning to separate itself from Olentangy.

Maddie Vaughn earned the win in the circle for the Lady Eagles.

Helping her pitching cause at the plate, Vaughn recorded three hits, including a double, and three RBIs.

Abigail Williams doubled and drove in three runs for the Lady Eagles.

Contributing at the plate for Johnson Central, Kendal Hall added two hits, including a double, and one RBI.
