Both Huffman and Lawrence County senior Brylee Stafford were named to the All-58th District Girls’ Volleyball Tournament Team. During the regular season, Stafford recorded 169 kills, 12 blocks, 3 assists, 45 digs and 42 service aces.

“I was really surprised,” Huffman commented after being named the 58th District Girls’ Volleyball Player of the Year. “I had no idea I was getting that award. I knew that Brylee and I were getting All-District Team, but I was really shocked. I thought that award would go to a member of the winning team. But I was so honored that the other teams’ coaches voted for me.”

“I was both happy and sad being named to the All-District Team,” Stafford commented. “I was happy because everything I had worked for paid off! I was sad because this is my senior year and I will miss my team and so many of the friendships that have been built.”
