Four Lady Bulldogs named First Team All-Academic

LOUISA — Four Lawrence County softball players have been named First Team All-Academic.

The Lawrence County student-athletes earned the honors from the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association.

Taylor Blevins, Bree Jones, Gracie Preece and Ella Smith were the First Team All-Academic selections from Lawrence County.

The Kentucky Softball Coaches Association honored players from throughout the state.

Only juniors and seniors are eligible for the All-Academic honors, which the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association announces annually.

To be named First Team All-Academic, a student-athlete must have a GPA between 3.75 and 4.0.

Grades are based on cumulative weighted GPAs through the fall 2024 semester.
