Fletcher named First Team All-State

LOUISA — The Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association has announced its honorees for the 2025 season and Lawrence County senior Eli Fletcher is among the First Team All-State selections.

Fletcher, who has signed with Transylvania University, helped to lead Lawrence County throughout his senior campaign. Through the 58th District Baseball Tournament, Fletcher was batting .484 with 40 runs, 46 hits, 27 RBIs, 17 doubles and six home runs. On the mound, Fletcher had compiled a 4-3 record and claimed three saves prior to Lawrence County competing in the 15th Region Baseball Tournament.

Another area player, Johnson Central junior Chase Preece, was named Second Team All-State.
