Feltner named 15th Region Player of the Year

PIKEVILLE — Lawrence County junior guard Kensley Feltner has been named the 15th Region Girls’ Basketball Player of the Year.

Feltner earned the honor from the 15th Region Coaches Association.

Among the top prep hoops players in the state, Feltner averaged 26.9 points and 9.2 rebounds per game for Lawrence County during the 2021-22 girls’ high school basketball season. Feltner led Lawrence County to the 58th District title and a 15th Region runner-up finish during her junior campaign.

Player of the Year: Kensley Feltner (Lawrence County).
