PAINTSVILLE – Eastern Kentucky FCA will host an evening with University of Alabama softball player Montana Fouts at Johnson Central High School at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 5.

An East Carter High School graduate, Fouts is a pitcher for the University of Alabama softball program.

Fouts will share about her life and faith.

A question and answer session with Fouts will be included as part of the event.

Fouts has excelled throughout her softball career. As a junior for the Crimson Tide in the 2021 college softball season, Fouts was named the SEC Co-Pitcher of the Year. She was named the 2021 NFCA Pitcher of the Year. Fouts has been honored as a two-time NFCA All-American (Second Team 2019; First Team 2021).

In high school, Fouts was a three-time Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year (2016-18).

She was named the 2018 USA Today All-USA High School Player of the Year.

Fouts is majoring in psychology at the University of Alabama.
