Catfish tournament casts off Sept. 19

Rebel River Outfitters and Randy’s Swap Shop, both in Louisa, will sponsor a Big Sandy River Catfish Tournament Saturday, Sept. 19.

The entry fee is $25 per person, and a $10 side pot for biggest fish, most inches wins. Participants must measure their fish with a ruler. They will be given a number and must take a picture with their fish and number.

There will be an 80 percent payout for first-, second- and third-place finishes, with 20 percent going to the “Cause For Paws” charity.
