Bulldogs to visit North Laurel

LOUISA — Lawrence County is scheduled to visit North Laurel for its fourth game in the 2026 high school football season on Friday, Sept. 18.
The Bulldogs were open the week of Friday, Sept. 11.
The Jaguars were open the week of Friday, Sept. 4.
Lawrence County is 2-1. The Bulldogs started strong in the current high school football season, securing back-to-back wins over Martin County and Lincoln County, However, Ashland held on to defeat Lawrence County 19-14 on Friday, Sept. 4.
Lawrence County has other upcoming games scheduled versus Letcher County Central, Mason County, Powell County, Estill County, Magoffin County and Boyd County. Head coach Alan Short guides the Bulldogs.
Lawrence County is among the top 10 teams in Class 3A. The Bulldogs entered the week of Monday, Sept. 14 ranked seventh in the state.
North Laurel is 1-2. After defeating Perry County Central in a season opener, North Laurel has dropped back-to-back games to Corbin and Madison Central.
North Laurel has other games scheduled versus Whitley County, Collins, Southwestern, Pulaski County, South Laurel and Wayne County. Head coach Steven Nelson guides the Jaguars.
The Lawrence County-North Laurel football game is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. in London.
