PRESTONSBURG — Lawrence County shut out Prestonsburg 3-0 in a boys’ soccer match at StoneCrest on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Jack Cline led Lawrence County to the win, scoring two goals for the Bulldogs.

Accompanying Cline in Lawrence County’s scoring column, Cooper Vinson netted one goal.

Contributing to Lawrence County’s offensive effort, Corbin Lee and Levi Hensley each dealt out one assist.

Goalkeeper Cole Robinette was Lawrence County’s defensive leader, recording a shutout for the Bulldogs. Robinette posted four saves.

Lawrence County evened its record to 5-5 after notching the win.

Prestonsburg’s overall record dropped to 5-3 with the loss.

Lawrence County and Johnson Central aren’t scheduled to meet again in the 2026 boys’ high school soccer season.
