Bulldogs to visit Mason County for regular season finale

LOUISA — Lawrence County is set to visit Mason County for its final game in the 2024 high school football regular season on Friday, Nov. 1.

The Bulldogs and Royals will meet for a non-district matchup.

Lawrence County notched a win over Mason County during the 2023 high school football season. The Bulldogs outlasted the Royals 20-14 on Oct. 27, 2023.

Lawrence County is 6-3. The Bulldogs have posted wins over Rowan County, Shelby Valley, Harlan County, Estill County, Magoffin County and Powell County.

Lawrence County has suffered losses to Perry County Central, Belfry and Boyd County.

The Bulldogs have scored 280 points while allowing 232 points.

Lawrence County compiled a 3-1 record in Class 3A, District 8.

Mason County is 7-2. The Royals have notched wins over Russell, Montgomery County, Fleming County, Rowan County, Holmes, Harrison County and Grant County.

Both Boyd County and Covington Catholic have defeated Mason County.

The Royals have scored 289 points while allowing 122 points.

Mason County compiled a 3-1 record in Class 4A, District 5.

Both Lawrence County and Mason County have advanced to the state playoffs.

Kickoff for the Lawrence County-Mason County game is slated for 7:30 p.m. in Maysville.
