LOUISA — Lawrence County edged Raceland 67-66 in a boys’ high school basketball game on Monday, Dec. 5.
The Bulldogs shot 34.3 percent (24 of 70) from the field in the win. Lawrence County knocked down six of 29 three-point field goal attempts.
Lawrence County shot 59.1 percent (13 of 22) from the free-throw line.
Andrew Bloomfield led a trio of Lawrence County scorers in double figures, netting a team-high 22 points for the Bulldogs.
Joining Bloomfield in double figures for the Bulldogs, Logan Ratliff scored 11 points and Will Lafferty added 10 points.
Flirting with double figures, Hayden Perry pushed in nine points for the Bulldogs.
Raceland shot 45.9 percent (28 of 61) from the field. The Rams shot 25 percent (seven of 28) from three-point range.
Raceland shot 75 percent (three of four) from the free-throw line.
Christian Large scored a game-high 27 points to lead the Rams. In addition to Large reaching double figures for Raceland, Jonah Arnett scored 14 points and Jacob Gauze netted 11 points.
