Bulldogs defeat Rams in Boyd County Roundball Classic

SUMMIT — Claiming its second straight win, Lawrence County defeated Raceland 75-69 in the Boyd County Roundball Classic on Saturday, Dec. 9.
Finishing strong, Lawrence County doubled up Raceland 26-13 in the fourth quarter to claim the win.
The Bulldogs connected on 16 of 21 free throw attempts.
Three Lawrence County players reached double figures in scoring.
Luke Fetherholf scored a game-high 23 points to lead Lawrence County to the win.
Accompanying Fetherholf in double figures for Bulldogs, Andrew Bloomfield scored 20 points and Blake Marcum netted 18 points.
Narrowly missing double figures for Lawrence County, Hayden Perry pushed in nine points.
Chipping in offensively for the Bulldogs, Ford Scaggs added three points while Logan Ratliff contributed two points.
Four Raceland players reached double figures in scoring.
Christian Large and Conner Sutton scored 17 points apiece to lead the Rams.
Also active offensively for Raceland, Jacob Waller netted 11 points while Connor Thacker scored 10 points.
Chipping in offensively, Jonah Arnett (seven points), Holden Topping (five points) and Parker Ison (two points) provided Raceland’s additional scoring.
The Rams connected on seven of 13 free throw attempts.
