Blair pitches perfect game, Johnson Central shuts out Martin County, 21-0

INEZ — Behind a perfect game from pitcher Keylee Blair, Johnson Central shut out Martin County 21-0 in three innings in a 57th District softball matchup on Wednesday, May 3.

Blair recorded three strikeouts while throwing 41 pitches.

Martin County starting pitcher Savannah Young suffered the loss.

Along with Young, Alyssa Mullins and Haley Robinson pitched for Martin County in the district game.

Johnson Central scored 21 runs on 15 hits. Blair (two hits), Addison Burchett (two hits, four RBIs), Maddie Vaughn (two hits, two RBIs), Randi Delong (three hits, three RBIs), Mayson Delong (two hits, three RBIs), Sophie Younce (one hit, two RBIs), Jadyn Estep (one hit, one RBI), Grace Blackburn (one hit, one RBI), Abbie Stambaugh (one hit), Carrigan Ratliff (one RBI) and Ava Cantrell (one RBI) each thrived at the plate for Johnson Central in its shutout win. Vaughn, Randi Delong and Mayson Delong drilled one home run apiece for the Lady Eagles.

Johnson Central is the reigning 15th Region softball champion.
