PRESTONSBURG – The University of Pikeville women's golf team won the Alice Lloyd College Women's Fall Invitational at StoneCrest Golf Course on Tuesday, Sept, 14, turning in a top team score of 635 (317, 318).
This ties for the fourth best finish in program history over 36 holes with their showing at the ERAU Spring Invite during the 2018-19 season.

Her 36-hole total of 142 is second in program history behind Kehoe's 141 in 2019-20. Newsome made six birdies during the tournament with two on day one and four on day two to give her 111 in her career, which is the most in program history.
Freshman Sophie Beverly finished third in her first collegiate tournament with a total of 158 (76, 82) while sophomore Gabriel Blankenship finished in a tie for fifth at 164 (81, 83).
