LOUISA - Lawrence County shut out 15th Region rival Martin County 7-0 in a boys' high school soccer match on Saturday, Sept. 18.
The Bulldogs recorded a second straight shutout.
Lawrence County moved ahead early and gradually pulled away to win convincingly.
Productive on the offensive end throughout the boys' high school soccer match, Luke Johnson scored four goals to lead Lawrence County to the shutout win.
Aiding Lawrence County's offensive effort, Blake Maynard scored three goals and distributed two assists.
Chipping in offensively for the Bulldogs, Matthew Clevenger and Brian Nelson recorded one assist apiece.
Goalkeeper Trenton Adkins paced Lawrence County defensively, recording a shutout with eight saves.

Lawrence County shut out Greenup County 9-0 on the road in a boys' high school soccer match on Thursday, Sept. 16.
Blake Maynard and Luke Johnson scored four goals apiece to lead the Bulldogs.
Excelling offensively, Maynard distributed four assists.
Joining Maynard and Johnson in scoring for Lawrence County, Ryder Brown netted one goal.
Johnson, Brown, Zach Holt and Andrew Vinson dealt out one assist apiece for the Bulldogs.
Pacing the Bulldogs' defensive effort, goalkeeper Trenton Adkins recorded a shutout with four saves.
