14 Bulldogs earn All-Class 3A, District 8 honors

LOUISA — Fourteen Lawrence County players have earned All-Class 3A, District 8 honors for the 2024 high school football season.

Bulldogs Luke Fetherolf, Kaden Johnson, Carlo Chicko, Colin Howard, Ty Brooks, Derrick Rakes, Caden Thompson, Andrew Ratcliff and Gray Derifield have been named All-Class 3A, District 8.

Cameron Castle, Connor York, Charlie Fletcher, Braxton Davis and Josh Sullivan from Lawrence County have been named All-Class 3A, District 8 Honorable Mention.

Powell County head coach Mike Jones was named the Class 3A, District 8 Coach of the Year.

Estill County athlete Jax Neace was named the Class 3A, District 8 Player of the Year.

Lawrence County finished runner-up behind Belfry in Class 3A, District 8 during the 2024 high school football season.

The Bulldogs reached the second round of the 2024 KHSAA Class 3A Playoffs. Lawrence County, under the direction of Coach Travis Short, compiled an 8-4 record in the 2024 high school football season.
