Two-Vehicle Accident on HWY 32 Claims the Life of LC Woman

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a 2-vehicle accident on Thursday, May 14, in the area of KY Hwy 32 and Blairs Way just before noon. According to a press release from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s office, when first responders arrived on the scene it appeared Shonda Osborne, 53, of Blaine, was westbound entering the turning lane and collided with a utility trailer of an eastbound motor vehicle driven by Michael Stevens, 28, of Huntington, WV.

Osborne was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extracted by the Louisa Fire Department before being transferred to Three Rivers Medical Center where she was later pronounced deceased.

Stevens was treated at the scene by Patriot Ambulance Service. The investigation is ongoing by LC Deputy James Ward.

Funeral services for Osborne will be 3 p.m., May 24, at Young Funeral Home Chapel, Louisa.
