Three Injured in Collision

Two-Vehicle CRASH: Three people were transported to hospitals following a two-vehicle accident in Louisa involving a gray Nissan occupied by a male and a female and a gray BMW, occupied by two females, on Highway 2565 and Locust Avenue on March 17 near the entrance to Stella Moore Ballfield at Highbottom. The female in the gray Nissan was transported by NetCare Ambulance Service to a landing zone near Walmart with multiple injuries to be flown to an area hospital. The two females in the BMW were transported by NetCare Ambulance Service to Three Rivers Medical Center with minor injuries. The male driver of the Nissan was uninjured. The Louisa Fire Department, NetCare Ambulance Service, the Louisa Police Department and Perry’s Wrecker Service responded to the scene. BSN photo/Brenda Hardwick.
