Mother’s Day event to be held at The Jordan Center in Louisa

The annual Mother’s Day Service and Celebration will be held at The Jordan Center in Louisa on Friday, May 9, beginning at 2:30 p.m., family members and friends are welcome to attend.

The event is presented by Pat and Christina Kincaid with Love Joy Ministries of Fort Gay and Christ Temple Church and Golden Years Ministry in Huntington, WV.

There are 44 mothers in the nursing home this year. “Thanks to the many donations that have been given this year, we will have decorated hats, scarves, jewelry and goodie bags for all,” said organizer, Pat Kincaid. “There will also be refreshments, singing and fellowship during the event,” she said.
