Lawrence County Grand Jury sends down eight true bills during their October meeting

The Lawrence County Grand Jury indicted both Travis Hylton, 44, and Sherry Hylton, 38, (aka Sherry Bowen) both of Louisa, of complicity to third-degree burglary, when on May 23, they committed the offense of unlawfully entering and remaining in outbuildings owned by William Hammond, located on highway 1690 with the intent to commit a crime within.

Cody Maynard, 21, of Louisa and Leslie M. Triplett, 27, unknown address, were indicted on a charge of third-degree arson when on August 26, they both committed the offense of unlawfully and intentionally starting a fire in an attempt to burn a building owned by Stephanie Chaffin, located on North Ky Rt. 3 in Lawrence County.

William E. Moore, 52, of Louisa, was indicted on charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance with firearm enhancement, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-degree fleeing/evading police, operating a motor vehicle under the influence first offense within ten years, third-degree feeling/evading on foot, possession of marijuana, reckless driving, possession of open alcohol container in vehicle, failure to wear seatbelt, speeding 26 mph over limit. Moore received these charges after he was found to have committed the offenses on April 14, of unlawfully being in possession of 35.992 grams of Methamphetamine, digital scales, baggies with the intent of trafficking while also in possession of a Taurus 9 mm handgun. He also committed the offenses of being in possession of Oxycodone, four dosage units of Gabapentin, being in possession of marijuana, operating a motorized vehicle while under the influence and disregarding signals and commands by KSP to stop, speeding and driving in a reckless manner with an open alcohol container in the vehicle and no seatbelt and attempting to feel on foot.

Michael Hudnall, 50, of Louisa, was indicted on charges that on August 27, he was found to be unlawfully committing the offense of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance of a minor under the age of twelve (second offense), possession of matter portraying a sexual performance of a minor under the age of twelve (two counts) and resisting arrest.

John Pauley, 47, of Danville, was indicted on a charge of second-degree burglary when on August 24, he unlawfully committed the crime of entering and remaining in the dwelling owned by Larry Love on Joe Fork Road with the intent to commit a crime therein.

Terry Block, 54, of Louisa, was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance when on May 9, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was also indicted on charges of trafficking within 100 feet of a school and possession of marijuana.
