Lawrence County Future Farmers students receive over $10,000 in prize money during banquet

During the Lawrence County Future Farmers of America 2024 Showman Banquet held on Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Lawrence County Extension office in Louisa, the following students were awarded over $10,696.75 in prize/scholarship money.
In the Senior Division were: Mikka Horn: Grand Champion Breeding Lamb $343 (Lawrence County Farm Bureau); Grand Champion Breeding Swine $560 (Brad Dutton); Reserve Grand Champion Market Swine $460 (Phil Carter); Ham $120 (Wes Vanhorn); $150 scholarship (Lawrence County Farm Bureau); Grand Champion Rabbit Breeding; Reserve Grand Champion Rabbit Market; and Third Place Beef Cattle Showman.
