High Schools compete in district Governor’s Cup
The Johnson Central High School academic team won the District 60 Governor’s Cup championship.

High schools in Lawrence, Johnson, Floyd and Martin counties competed in district Governor’s Cup events last weekend.
Championships were captured by Paul Blazer High School of Ashland in District 63, Johnson Central High School in District 60 and Floyd Central High School in District 57.
District 63
• Overall Final Standings: first, Paul Blazer, 71 points; second, Boyd County, 38; and Lawrence County, 9.
