Fallsburg, Johnson County, Adams, Pikeville take championships

Fallsburg Elementary, Johnson County Middle School, James D. Adams Middle School and Pikeville High School recently won their respective district Governor’s Cup championships for middle grades.

Fallsburg won in District 68, Johnson County captured the District 80 title, Adams was victorious in District 81 and Pikeville claimed the District 82 championship.

Results of the district competition, which were held virtually, are as follows:

District 68

• Overall Final Standings: first, Fallsburg, 63.5 points; Louisa Middle School, 34; Blaine Elementary, 18; and The Millard School, 4.5.

• Quick Recall: first, Fallsburg; second, Louisa; third, Blaine; and fourth, Millard.
