Preseason 15th Region Baseball Watch List released

LEXINGTON — The Preseason 15th Region Baseball Watch List has been released.

The Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association compiled player watch lists for each of the state’s 16 regions.

High school baseball teams from throughout the state opened preseason practice in mid-February.

Prep baseball squads were preparing to take the field for 2022 season openers at the start of the week.

Lawrence County, Johnson Central and Paintsville were each represented with players on the 15th Region Baseball Watch List.

The 15th Region Baseball Watch List is as follows: Bryce Blevins (Lawrence County), Luke Patton (Lawrence County), Blue Fletcher (Lawrence County), Gunner Collins (Paintsville), Zach Taylor (Paintsville), Connor Fugate (Paintsville), Baron Ratliff (Paintsville), Conner Lemaster (Johnson Central), Gavin Crum (Johnson Central), Cole Ward (Johnson Central), Brock Butcher (Johnson Central), Cameron Kelsey (Johnson Central), Brad Clark (Pikeville), Tate Lakin (Pikeville), Logan Windle (Pikeville), Tate Walters (Pikeville), Dylan Thompson (Pikeville), Ashton Deskins (Belfry).
