Paintsville Little League teams to open practices June 15

PAINTSVILLE - Paintsville Little League Coach Pitch and Major division teams will start practice on June 15.
Games in the Paintsville Little League Coach Pitch and Major divisions will begin on June 29.
Paintsville Little League has canceled softball for the 2020 season. On Wednesday, June 3, Paintsville Little League posted the following on its Facebook page regarding softball: "Unfortunately, softball (6-8, 9-12) will be canceled for this season. This comes after much and careful consideration of the recent COVID-19 guidelines, and with coaches/players prior commitments, there won’t be enough coaches and children in each age group to have multiple teams. We also had an agreement for the older girls to play teams in other counties and due to the restrictions from our governor, traveling out of our community is not recommended. Refunds will be available for those who had already paid their registration fee. The date, time and location of refund pick up will be posted later in the week."
